I always love when I have couples that are ahead of the trend!

“Experts” predict that in 2012 cakes will feature an abundance of hand painted accents and details . . .

Katie and Isaiah were just that “ahead of the trend” couple when I met with them to discuss their cake for their May 7th wedding at the Moorehead Inn.

This beautiful three-tiered hand-painted wedding cake is covered in smooth rolled fondant. Each tier was carefully hand-painted with blue and purple flowers and accented with coordinating ribbon.

Goodbye 909 (sniff, sniff), Hello Park Road!

I’ve loved my cozy, pretty space at 909 for the past year and a half – it’s served me well . . . I’ve designed the windows, organized the space, hung my chandelier and decorated to make my studio to create an inviting space for my brides.

But as you know, cozy also means SMALL . . . Wow Factor has grown faster than we ever imagined – thanks to my wonderful couples and vendor partners! We’ve decided to pack up the studio and head South to Dillworth!
